Aerotronics Flight Simulator Systems

High Fidelity controls
at a great price
Aerotronics LLC is a producer of high
end flight simulation hardware. Our core business revolves
around production of the HOTAS for most of the United
States fighter jet inventory. We have expanded capabilites to include custom metal and fiberglass fabrication.
Our specialty is the production of flight
control transducers and throttle control units. These
bases are dimensionally accurate form fitting LRUs
that dropped right into the cockpit. If needed, they
can be configured as desktop units as well.
The natural consequence of providing flight
and throttle bases has been the call to provide flight
and throttle grips. Some of our customers have come to us with other vendor's broken plastic grips, requesting something stronger. They needed something that would stand up to the High G environments of the centrifuge. After a survey of the viable options,
and finding a lack of a perfect solution, Aerotronics
has decided to produce its own high Fidelity grips out of metal. These are made of investment, diecast and machined aluminum.
Most flight and throttle grips, including
helicopter flight controls, navigation and weapons system
controllers are within our production capabilities.
Avionics: Aerotronics was commissioned by one of the US Air Force Bases to develop and build a working, short focal length Head Up Display. This took tremendous effort, but has paid off in results. We have also successfully fulfilled requests for many other avionics displays.
We have also had the call to build fiberglass and metal enclosures, ejection seats, as well as simplified aggressor stations. Our affiliate company, Military Metal and Fiberglass, has stepped in to provide these services.
Our Customers:
We have provided equipment for many of the US Airforce Bases, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, L-3, AFRL, Evironmental Techtonics. International customers include Israel, Singapore, Thailand, Canada, South Korea, The Netherlands and Austria.

Our Mission:
Aerotronics LLC was born out of
an industry need for a high quality, high fidelity
military simulation hardware with competitive
pricing, and faithful reliability.
Those who are familiar with the
military simulation market are likely aware of
companies that promise the world and deliver something
less than a backstreet tour of Fallujah for the
cost of a fleet of B-1 bombers after a 20 month
wait.
We strive to be better than our
competition in the price value reliability triangle!
Aerotronics Engineering Innovations
These are things that you can't get anywhere else..... For example: If you want an authentic feel to the F-16 throttle action - with the proper detents and stops, you would normally need to build a side wall to house the throttle guide rail. That is bulky and cumbersome! Who needs an extra 2 feet and 5 pounds hanging off the throttle mechanism? NO ONE!
We have incorporated that side wall internally so all of the gates, detents and stops are built INTO the mechanism.
The rudder system is the most rugged in its price class, complete with hidden integrated toe brakes and accurate actuation forces.
The Force transducers accurately represent the force loading of the real F-16 FLCS base using strain gauge technology. |

Why Aerotronics? What distinguishes us from the rest?
4 words: Price, Quality, Timeliness, Innovation.
Innovation: is covered above and in more detail here.
Lead Time: A seasoned purchasing agent knows that some of our competing hardware manufacturers have lead times of upwards of 12 to 24 months. These big companies are so large that they cannot move any faster.
As a smaller company, Aerotronics is often able to manipulate staffing for rush orders in order to meet your deadlines!
Quality: Our flight hardware was designed by an aerospace engineer who takes pride in "uber-engineering" our products to a state of robustness that exceeds design specifications.
Whenever the question "why can't we make a part just like in the real aircraft" comes up, the answer always is "flight simulators get 100 times the abuse of the real jet... that's why we need to make it stronger!"
Reliability / Durability: Because our flight equipment has been selected for use in high speed centrifuge simulators, the equipment must be strong enough withstand the high G. environment, and yet be light enough to not be an enormous mechanical burden at 10 G’s.
Price: Our promise is to deliver the best value. We have several grades of fidelity and material. We work in aluminum, steel, carbon fiber, fiberglass and resin. If price is the most important factor, we will supply the best equipment available for your budget. Upgrades in quality and delivery timeframes are always available for a premium.
Be wary of vendors who promise the world and then cannot deliver. There may be projects that cannot be delivered at a given price. We would let you know that upfront.
