Description

Aerotronic’s F-18 flight grip is essentially a dimensionally accurate casting of the real grip. It is populated with high-grade switches from the original equipment manufacturers, Otto engineering, Mason, as well as hi fidelity simulation switches.

The F-18 flight grip is very similar to the Harrier flight grip.  The only difference is that the castle switch and the trim switch are reversed.  The photographs here depicted the F-18 flight grip.

Features

The real F-18 flight grip is made of a nonmetallic resin like material.  Therefore, the simulation product is resin-based.  Fortunately, the F-18 flight grip is mounted on top of a movable center stick base.  This keeps the forces of actuation minimal, putting less stress on the tail grip adapter and flight grip itself.
